PhotoShop?

Im trying to look for a free photo editing download. I want something where I can have fun with My pictures. Like Put designs On them etc. Anyone have any sites/suggestionsPhotoShop?
Alternative to photoshop, try gimp.PhotoShop?
Photoshop is the best but it requires a releativley fast machine and often has a large learning curve as well as costing more than what you would use it for. If i were you i would just the program paint in windows. (start/all programs/accesories/paint)
photoshop is great. I have it, but its expensive unless you stumble upon a copy ;) To try some different stuff out on pictures use www.picnik.com its really cool, not as indepth as photoshop by any means but it is very user friendly.

Photoshop?

I have photoshop CS3,

whenever I use it and upload the photoshoped

pictures up on Myspace they become

blurry. Why does this happen?Photoshop?
Im not sure, maybe you should try to reduce the resolution to 72. Thats standard for the web and then try to export it under File%26gt;Save for web%26gt; ( then save it as a jpeg, gif, png. etc.) That should help. But there could be a possibility of over retouching to the point that its blurry and more noticable on myspace. Or you could be working from a file that is smaller than 72 resolution and then trying to enlarge it, which would also cause blurriness. Hope that helps.Photoshop?
Photos too big, too much resolution. Resolution, dpi, should be twice the size of the photo. Try to get the photo the exact measurements of the space it will go into.
check the resolution

Photoshop ???????

Is there a place I can download a free trial version or something of the sort? I am in an Advertising class and in charge of creating the magazine print ad... I am going to sketch out the outline and then scan it onto a computer to hopefully digitalize the color etc. with photoshop. (Which I cant afford bc I am a poor college student lol)

Or any other suggestions are welcome.

Thanks!Photoshop ???????
You can get a free trial from Adobe.com. But since you are a student, you should talk to your school about helping you get the student license version (also called the educational version). It's not free, but it's a lot cheaper (abut 1/3 the cost of the retail package). Even if your school can't help you get the program, you can order it from any of several academic resellers, such as JourneyEd.com or AcademicSuperStore. You will still need to prove you are a student, but your school will be able to help with that.

Another alternative is to get Adobe Photoshop Elements 6, which is the consumer product and may well be adequate for you. It's less than $100 (around $80 on Amazon.com). But I hope you already have some experience using these programs, or you will have to spend time learning how they work too.

One other alternative is to download gimp. www.gimp.org. It's a free Photoshop-like image editor, probably the best of the legal OpenSource programs out there. There is a learning curve, of course, because it's not completely like Photoshop. But it might be worth the try, since you can get it immediately.

Good luck, and I hope that helps!Photoshop ???????
http://www.gimp.org

It's free...and does everything Photoshop does including using a lot of the same plugins and filters.

If you're poor college student, you're entitled to purchase photoshop at an educational discount. Check at your school and on the internet for educational pricing
You can get the 30-day free trial of Photoshop here:

http://adobe.com/photoshop/ has a free trial, heavily discounted student licenses are available, http://gimp.org/ and http://getpaint.net/ provide free alternatives.

Photoshop????

can you buy photoshop in stores... like a computer store. or does it have to be online?Photoshop????
you can just pirate it 0.o

or however you spell it:DPhotoshop????
Yes! I would advise you call around first to locate the product first. Some computer stores are rather limited in their software selections. If they don't have what you are looking for, don't hang up! Ask the sales rep if he/she knows what store does.

Some Bookstores even carry software so don't rule them out as a last resort.

Good Luck
I'm fairly sure you can get it in stores, I think I remember seeing it in Staples, probably Best Buy, stores like that. However, it's really expensive.
yeah it's like $1,700 depending on what version you get, well that price is for the creative suite

but i think the photoshop itself is $650.00
I've seen it in office supply stores, and some computer stores.
They have it in stores too, but it's super expensive.
you shoudl check futureshop . or call your local electronic stores!
either one

but the programs in a store is much more expensive
I'm gonna sell a Video package on ebay soon, so check Ebay
  • over the counter cream

I need a free downloadable photoshop program with alot of photoshopping options. Got any suggestions?Photoshop?
    how about just use http://www.photoshopexpress.com

it's free and got many of the features that people barely know how to use of photoshop anyway. (cus the full version's too intimidating)Photoshop?
    http://www.gimp.org

    Photoshop???

ok, can anyone pleasse tell me how you can do this to a photo? I think it has somthing to do with photoshop...

    http://biralize.deviantart.com/art/lilbi鈥?/a>Photoshop???
The effect is a line halftone and is available as an option under Filters.Photoshop???
Didn't anyone actually ..ya know...read the artists' comments? It's a stencil... it's a printout of a picture in B%26amp;W, with parts of it cut out with a sharp knife and the results tacked onto a piece of cardboard.

    Sheesh!

Take a picture. Desaturate it. Play with the levels until you're happy with the dark/light ratio. Print it and take a knife to it.
it looks like they put a photo on a board, then converted to black %26amp; white and then took a lined texture ora brush over the picture to give it that look
yes, I think this is possible with photoshop.. I'm not a photoshop expert and I only know some of the basics so I can't help you, but you can search some photoshop tutorials and maybe you'll stumble into something that can help you.

    here are some tutorial sites

How do you layer images in photoshop?

I'm trying to make a game cover and I can't put the image behind it.How do you layer images in photoshop?
Your original image might be the ';background image'; ... in which case, you won't be able to layer anything under it. Double click the layer and it should turn into a regular layer... then you can put stuff under it.

Good luck! How do you layer images in photoshop?
Not sure what you mean. If you want to create a layer, on the top menu go to Layer--%26gt;New--%26gt;Layer. Then, if you want to rearrange the layers, drag and drop the layers in the window on the right of the screen in the order you wish.
do you see the layer on the bottom right corner?

    just click the image

and drag it under the game cover :) i hope this works

I had the trial and I hope my memory is correct
