Go to this site, http://webnoobie.com/photoshop/photoshop鈥?/a> and start with the video PSD to HTML 1 through 6. Thats how I learned how to do it. They are great video tutorials, easy to understand.
Ryan CWhat is the next step in dreamweaver after slicing in photoshop?
If you have sliced the graphic with the slice tool, right click on your slice and edit the slice properties. Type in the name you want the file to be saved as, but don't put .jpg or .gif or .png. Just put ';my-file'; or something like that. Then go to File %26gt; Save for Web. Pick a format (gif, jpg, png) and choose save image only, only selected slice (if you want just one slice).
Pick a directory where your webpage is and hit save. Sometimes, Photoshop will be default create an ';image'; directory and put the files in there, one level deeper than you wanted. You can change this in the Save preferences.
Once that is done, if your files are in a folder called ';images/my-picture.jpg';, then you just ';Insert Image'; with Dreamweaver and point it to that file. Then upload the HTML file and the jpg file(s) to your server to test!
