It would be a painstaking task without any special software (apart from photoshop). You could use the slice tool, slice you and your friend's bodies, copy, then paste onto the beach background.

Slicing would be incredibly hard, especially detailed parts of the body, like hair, but it would be more useful if you use Vertus fluid mask. It's worth $149, can work as a single program, or as a plug-in for photoshop. They let you use a 30-day demo, wit full features, so you could use it for your picture.
You can do this a few ways. If you like using the eraser, take the photo of you and your friend. Unlock the background layer by double-clicking it and hitting OK. Now select the eraser tool, set the hardness to around 40%, and choose a master diameter/brush size that suits the image.

Go to View %26lt; Zoom In for a more precise edit. Erase the white background of your photo. It also helps to use the Magic Wand tool. Set the tolerance to 10-15 and select bits and pieces of the white background. To make multiple selections, press the SHIFT key. It's a little difficult to explain, so I hope these tutorials will help you:

1.) Pen Tool, Magic Wand, and Eraser: http://outofbounds.vintagepeace.com/cutt…

2.) Quick Masking and Eraser: http://outofbounds.vintagepeace.com/quic…

Once you're finished getting rid of the white background, CTRL A and copy and paste the cutout onto the beach background. Hope this helped.

This is super easy!

also, what i have done before it to layer the beach (or whatever background) over your image. The adjust the opacity and blend mode to whatever helps you see you the best...then you a soft eraser brush and erase the part of the picture you don't want then merge then together. Blur the edges a bit so it looks natural..before you blend you may want to add some shadow! super easy!
Find the pen tool on the left.

when it is selected go to the top of the screen and select the outline button.

draw round the image of you point by point (drag to create a curve).

on the right select paths.

Right click work path and click make selection

copy to clipboard.

Open beach image

paste.
1) Get in car

2) Drive to beach

3) Take real picture

4) You won't lose respect this way
