I'm under the impression that it has something to do with rendering but what exactly is feathering, what's its purpose, tips/tricks, etc?What exactly is feathering in Photoshop?
Feathering is softening the outer edge of something. You could trace around something or draw something, then soften the edge of it by how many pixels you want. You can select a part or a border with the magic wand %26amp; feather it from there. I really dont use it much, just use the blur setting at softening.
