How do you center text on photoshop?

How do you center text on a page in photoshop 7.0? I know how to center it in the box, but not on the page itself.

at the top of the screen, just click 'center' in the alignment box. if you need to center it on the page, click the layer in the layers palette and then control-click the background layer. then press v on your keyboard and go to the align horizontally and align vertically buttonsHow do you center text on photoshop?
Look up top on the bar with your font name and size etc, you will see 3 choices, left align text, center align text and right align text, with your text layer selected, choose the center align option
