Why does my text now appear pixelly and jagged in Photoshop?

Whenever i insert text into photoshop, it comes out looking pixelly and jagged, as if it was it pencil mode, but i have pencil mode off so i don't know what's causing this! Can someone help?Why does my text now appear pixelly and jagged in Photoshop?

1)You must increase the size of the resolution to 150 or to 300 pixel/inches (of your document (photo, poster, comic page鈥?)


That will fix your problem

BUT if you zoom enough (600%) the text will look jagged no matter how large the type point size or anti-aliasing applied. But this does not affect your work!!
1. Select and highlight your text.


2. From the menu, goto Layer %26gt; Type %26gt; Anti-alias Smooth.
