I want to get my boyfriend Photoshop for Christmas. I don't know what the different types are and which would be the best to get. He would mostly use it to make web comics. I don't want to get the $700.00 version. Any suggestions??What would be the best version of Photoshop to get?

I hate to spoil your plans, but that might not be a good idea. If he is serious enough to use Photoshop, he probably already has it. Not only that, but it would be a waist of money since he could just use GIMP Image Editor instead. Sorry
That is the only photoshop there is. The other 2 are for very specific industries, and the rest are add ons for the normal ones.
